Pretzinger Group, together with its subsidiaries The Insurance Dudes and Pretzinger Agencies (collectively, “Company,” “we,” “us”), respects your privacy. Information You Provide. Name, phone number(s), email address, mailing address, date of birth, insurance-related details (coverage type, current carrier, policy details), and any other information you submit through our forms or during communications with us.

Automatically Collected Information. IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring URLs, pages viewed, and interaction data collected via cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To contact you by phone, text message (SMS/MMS), and email regarding insurance quotes, policy reviews, renewals, appointment reminders, customer care, and insurance products and services you have asked about
  • To prepare quotes and place coverage with the insurance carriers we represent, at your request
  • To provide quotes, information, and customer service related to insurance products
  • To improve our services, websites, and marketing efforts
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

4. How We Handle Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We will not share or sell your mobile phone number or other personal information with third parties for their promotional or marketing purposes, or for any other reason. Text messaging opt-in data and consent records are never shared with or sold to any third party.

Your information is used only by Pretzinger Agencies and is disclosed only as needed to serve you:

  • Insurance Carriers. When you request a quote or a policy, we submit the details needed to quote, underwrite, and issue coverage to the insurance carrier(s) we represent on your behalf.
  • Service Providers. Vendors that operate our systems (such as hosting, database, email delivery, telephony, and analytics) process information solely on our behalf and under our instructions. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
  • Legal Requirements. When required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other legal process.

5. TCPA & Communication Preferences

By providing your phone number and checking the consent box on one of our forms, you agree to receive SMS/text messages from Pretzinger Agencies regarding insurance quotes, policy review reminders, renewal follow-ups, appointment reminders, customer care, and, if you select the marketing option, marketing messages related to insurance products and services, including home and auto bundle quote opportunities. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. We will not share or sell mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes, or for any other reason.

To opt out: Reply STOP to any text message, reply HELP for help, call the number in our communication, or email optout@pretzingergroup.com. We will process your request within a reasonable time.

6. Do-Not-Call Policy

We maintain an internal Do-Not-Call list and honor all opt-out requests. We scrub our calling lists against the National Do-Not-Call Registry. Requests to be added to our internal Do-Not-Call list can be made by emailing optout@pretzingergroup.com or by calling the number provided in any communication from us. We will honor your request within 30 days.

7. Call & Text Message Recording

Calls to and from our company may be recorded for quality assurance, training, and compliance purposes. By engaging in a telephone conversation with us, you acknowledge that the call may be recorded.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Lead data and consent records are retained in accordance with applicable TCPA record-keeping requirements (minimum 5 years for consent records).

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, and request deletion. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not discriminate against consumers who exercise their privacy rights.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
